Privacy Policy
HRT Stats is designed as a local-first personal transition tracker. The app does not require an account, does not include ads, does not use third-party analytics, and does not sell personal information.
Information You Enter
You may choose to enter doses, lab values, check-ins, symptoms, mood changes, physical changes, appointment questions, notes, and related health information. This information is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to HRT Stats servers.
Face Photos And Face Data
HRT Stats includes optional timeline and comparison photo features. If you choose to take or import a photo, that photo may include your face. HRT Stats treats these photos, plus the date, tags, and notes you add to them, as face data for privacy purposes. Timeline photos, photo notes, and photo tags are saved in the app's local storage on your device. HRT Stats does not upload those photos to developer-operated servers and does not provide developer-operated cloud sync.
HRT Stats uses timeline photos only to let you keep a private visual timeline, view photos over time, and compare photos you select. The face-frame shown in the camera is only a visual alignment guide. HRT Stats does not use face recognition, does not identify you or anyone else in a photo, does not analyze facial geometry or emotions, and does not create or store faceprints, biometric identifiers, face landmarks, or facial recognition templates.
Photos may leave HRT Stats only when you choose to use system features outside the app, such as saving to Photos, exporting, sharing, copying, restoring from a device backup, or using Apple services configured on your device. HRT Stats does not sell or share face photos or related face data with third parties. Copies outside HRT Stats are handled by the system services, apps, and providers you choose.
HRT Stats keeps face photos and related timeline data until you delete a photo, delete all local app data, or remove the app from your device, subject to your device backup and photo library settings. Deleting a photo inside HRT Stats removes the app's local copy. If you previously saved, exported, shared, or backed up that photo elsewhere, you may need to delete those copies separately.
Permissions
- Camera access is used when you choose to take timeline photos or lab photos.
- Photo Library access is used when you choose to import photos or save exported photos through the system photo library.
- Notification permission is used for optional dose and photo reminders.
- Device passcode or system authentication may be used by iOS when you enable app lock features. Biometric data is handled by iOS and is not available to HRT Stats.
Exports, Imports, And Backups
If you export, copy, import, share, or back up data, that action is controlled by you and may involve apps or services outside HRT Stats, such as Files, Mail, Messages, Photos, cloud storage providers, or device backup services you choose.
Tracking And Analytics
HRT Stats does not track you across apps or websites. The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking code.
Deleting Your Data
You can delete photos, check-ins, doses, labs, notes, and app data from inside HRT Stats. Removing the app from your device may also remove locally stored app data, depending on your device settings and backups.
Medical Boundary
HRT Stats helps organize information. It does not diagnose, prescribe, interpret labs as safe or unsafe, recommend medication changes, or tell you how to dose medication.
